Leopards are graceful and powerful big cats closely related to lions, tigers, and jaguars. They live in sub-Saharan Africa, northeast Africa, Central Asia, India, and China.


HERE SOME INTERSTING FACTS ABOUT LEOPARD ;


  • they have the ability to hoist a carcass of up to 50kg into a tree
  • Leopards are solitary animals. Unlike lions which are social animals, Leopards are solitary cats living a sole individual lifestyle
  • Leopards are not picky eater
  • Leopards are ambush predators. 
  • They are great athletes, able to run in bursts up to 36 miles an hour (58 kilometers per hour),
  • JUMP leap 20 feet (6 meters) forward in a single bound, and jump ten feet (3 meters) straight up.
  • Leopards are strong swimmers and very much at home in the water, where they sometimes eat fish or crabs.
  • They can't roar.
  • They're well adapted to their cold environment. 
  • Their paws act as natural snowshoes
